Preparing To Assemble Jungle Float
With your Jungle Float packed and leaving the factory, it is important that assembling Jungle Float near your waterway is planned, prepared and ready. Please watch this video:
|
|
Please study this checklist and let us know if you have any problems preparing. The video at the bottom will help show what we do. Please have these items READY:
1. ForkliftWe will need use of a forklift that can reach at least 15 feet (4.5m) high. The forklift is used to take items out of the container or off of the flatbed. It is also used to place the upper deck to be bolted down and hold the large slide up to be secured to Jungle Float. Our arriving technician can operate the forklift.
|
2. WorkersHaving 4 to 6 workers is required to put Jungle Float together in a timely manner. It is helpful if these workers have experience in either construction or handyman work, and have ample experience with tools of the trade. It is advised that the workers have gloves. Our arriving technician can supervise your crew.

3. ToolsThe technician will bring all tools needed,
but if you can have any of these tools on stand-by, it can help the process. 9/16 sockets, 1/2 sockets, 15/16 sockets
7/32 bits, 5/16 bits, 3/16 bits pry bars, dead-blow hammers anti-seize lubricant line-up pins, spud wrench 1/2 to 3/8 reducer 3/8 socket driver extension lifting straps, tape measure sliding bessey clamps 1/2 drive cordless impact 3/8 drive cordless impact |
4. Flatbed Trailer |
All the pieces of Jungle Float are assembled on a flatbed trailer that is at least 35 feet (10.6m) long and 8 feet (2.4m) wide. That trailer is backed into the water at your ramp. Please see the video below to understand this process. The flatbed trailer can be attached to the tow-hitch or gooseneck of a truck.
When you container arrives, it is important that they leave the container ON THE GROUND, so that your forklift can remove all of the pallets. If the container is not on the ground or up high on a truck, you will need a lull to remove the items from the container (in this case you will not need a forklift because the lull can be used for all tasks). ** If you are not able to provide a flatbed trailer, we can assemble your Jungle Float on a flat beach at the waterline as long as you have a heavy piece of equipment to push the boat in the water from the sand, such as an excavator or lull. |
Thank you for providing your workers, tools, flatbed trailer and forklift. Our experienced technician will arrive and supervise the crew to safely assemble, test and train your staff on your new Tarzan Boat.
